Red Gracilaria Tang Heaven A large growing specimen found in open water attached to rocks or hard substrate. We collect about 5 different varieties of gracilaria from the Gulf of Mexico, many of which have not been properly identified, so all are sold as gracilaria. Most red algae grows considerably slower than caulerpa. It is available in a variety of colors such as shades of brown, yellow, red and green depending on the species and depth collected. Tangs and angels love to eat this particular algae. |
