 This
species of green Discosoma is collected in the Atlantic and
Caribbean. It features a metallic, lime green coloration with
variations of tan markings. These corals prefer a lower light
environment and can be fed meaty foods as they are carnivorous, They're
usually found growing in a protected area near the base of
gorgonians, sponge or macro algae. This species is very hardy and a great
choice for beginners. Although they can grow quite large, we
typically collect polyps that are small from about 1/2" to
1".
