A
gorgeous species of red algae that
features gelatinous, delicate branches that form a tight clump. This particular species is collected from the Gulf of Mexico in
Florida and only grows to about 5-6" in diameter. It's coloration
is pink to bright red depending on the lighting. Unlike some Pacific varieties the tips remain a
uniform color and don't have iridescent qualities. It's a rare
algae but can be abundant when found. It's quite hardy algae in the
aquarium once established. It's palatable to some fish and invertebrates. You
will receive a single specimen that is approx 2-3".
